We are pulling our hair out here, so I am hoping that someone can point me in the right direction?

We have just changed our internet provider to BT and despite some connection issues we are up and running an connected to the internet with a hub.

My problem is that I use Thunderbird Mozilla to manage my work emails and even though I have changed the POP and SMTP settingsto those that BT suggest, I still cannot send or receive mail.

One message that comes up is that the mails adresses need to be authenticated?

I have trawled the net for hours now and I have tried to get help from BT which was a waste of time.

Has anyone else come accross this?

Thanks in advance.

Ben
