Financing the ZX

I have just tried to finalise my purchase of the HKS modified ZX, when the dealer put the paper work to the finance company they came back and said that they would only go up to 10K on this type of veihcle, this was the same response from several companies.

Has anybody had this problem before and can somebody recomend a finance company that will take the ZX on board, they seem to think they are very specialised car and are nervous.

    Would never consider finance from a dealer. Too expensive and restrictive. Get a loan instead, much cheaper. Alliance & Leicester - any loan over 10K about 9.8% I think.

    I would also reccomend a personal loan... shop around all the big names... first-direct etc...

     

    Try to find something like a which magazine or F.Times with a loans comparision. - There is even a FT on line version.
