Large plastic panels from engine bay marked RH and LH with vents - where do they go?

Hi

I had a new nose put on my 1990 300zx NA after an accident and the guys who did the job presented me with two panels that they took off and which wouldn't fit back in with the new aftermarket nose. The panels are marked RH and LH and they have a sort of scoop and vent to both sides of the panel. The are thin black plastic, maybe a foot by a foot and a half. Can anyone please tell me where they go or point me to a picture. I would like to put a stock nose back on some time and I would like to put the panels back where they are supposed to go.

Thanks,

Mooch

Are they something to do with the standard air box trunking do you have aftermarket induction kit fitted .

She's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went - Simply irresistible.

If they are oval in shape about an 1inch in depth and about 1 half foot long then would go under the headlamps and feed air into the original air box, if you have an after market air intake i wouldnt worry about them i removed mine as not needed.

had a feeling that`s what you meant, they just attach to the standard airbox so it pulls in air from a direction that`s cooler and less likely to suck water in, you can bin em.

Thanks AndrewG. They are the arch liners you mention. What are the vents for?
