Hi all,

I've spotted a 300ZX that I'm hoping to go and have a look at tomorrow so have been doing research before I do. Very excited about the possibility of owning a 300ZX :D

One thing I noticed about the car that doesn't add up as I am doing my research is the stock boost gauge is marked -7 to +7. I found other TT examples of this on European and Australian forums but can't find anything to explain why...

Would appreciate anyone being able to help me with this :)

The car is a 1991 (Z32) and comes back from the MID as 'NISSAN 300 1990-1994 Petrol 3.0L Manual 2 doors ZX TURBO'

Thanks,

Jynx

Is there anything I should be aware of with an import (other than insurance issue and stuff)?

Were the specs particularly different?

Jap spec cars are normally in better condition than UK ones these days

Spec of the car depending on the age but has a few more goodies

Insurance if your car is 17years or older 89>95 u can get Classic insurance from

Depending on your age and if its garaged and u have a Main car to use Normally its around 250>500 year

Footman James

Lynn brooks

and a few more

Cheers Bolt.

I'm in Gosport and the car isn't far away.

Looks like a really nice example, I'm hoping it all checks out tomorrow.

I'll be sure to report back when I have more details!

Well that was all for nought. Spoke to the dealer this morning, the car isn't actually for sale. Belongs to another trader who has parked in on the forecourt for winter and does not want to sell it :(

Can't blame him though, the car is in fantastic condition, has the leather interior too.

Thanks to all for your input, guess I'll just keep my eyes open for another Z that takes my fancy!

Well thats a shitter for u m8 .. why dont u look round on ebay and on here .. all ways plenty for sale

Theres plenty about, its worth soaking up as much zed knowledge as possible before you take the plundge. And going out in one or two to see whatva healthy one feels like
