.....in particular dopey farmer/pikey types.....:cursing:

I left home nice and early this morning as I wanted to get a few bits done at work before closing for Christmas. So there I was driving happily along a nice and fairly quiet national speed limit A-road; it was pitch dark (it's the shortest day - LOL) and there were no street lights. I wasn't driving overly fast - maybe 65 at the most - when I thought I saw something not too far in front of me....

....turns out I did. A stupid f***ing c**t driving along in a black double cab truck, towing a black trailer, at no more than 30mph WITH NO LIGHTS ON IT!!! There were no reflectors, no rear number plate and the damn thing was near invisible until I was a few metres away!!! Luckily I have very good brakes - and there was a "right turn" centre section I could swerve into at the last minute. Oh andnothing was coming the other way!!!

Honestly, what possesses these morons to venture out onto the road without due consideration for other road users???

Richard:pinch:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

because they want to drive with no lights, or reg details on the trailer, as they were probably pis*ed, and the trailer was nicked. but if you had of crashed into them, they would try and sue you for whip lash, stating they could never work again and due to you crashing into their trailer which the reg and lights were stolen earlier, but there friends cousins, next door neighbour, who was at work knew a guy who borrowed the van, from a guy who after competing in the local "get that rabbit contest" didnt win, said, it was good to drive and fully insured, drove in front off you. until you had the stupid idea of driving to work early it was your fault.............

Sod that, because they are fookers........................

stupid thing is it would of been your fault Richard in the eyes of the law had you hit him, as all he had to say was "my lights where on and the break lights worked as well before the accident, dunno what 'appened to the number plate, must of shot off during the impact" and that would of been that.

we get it all the time here in wales matey on the back roads farmers :pinch:

understandable they have to use the roads to travel between fields ect but my god the state of there machinery  no rear lights on trailers no reg plates and looking although it could fall apart any second, along with all the mud and sh@t thrown up from the tyres,

many many incidents happen here where people have overtaken a slow moving tractor only to have it turn right at the crucial moment, no indicators, no hand signals nothing and yep its the overtaking guys fault!!!! be very weary when behind a tractor guys!!
