the block is being treated and checked ... other than that nothing more really is needed

My Tuning guy .. in hinkley

Well depends on the funds think i could afford another turbo kit

but my ones are rated at 700>750whp

What about the issue with thin walls, big power and melting? Been issues with this in the states worth looking into what people have done to address this when it comes to 90mm pistons. Or just speak to Kyle Puckett

This article may be of use to you - under "The Engine Block" section regarding overbores, cryo treating, epoxy filling water jackets

and torque plates.

She's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went - Simply irresistible.

Hi Mark, you should do Ten of the Best once you're done, maybe a round of TimeAttack?

these are the New turbos i'm thinking of getting .. Speaking to CPZ today and they said ( when testing they had over 800whp from them ) he sugested the GT2871r they have higher output but he said the Lag was rubbish

$2965

This Turbo kit uses a GTX2863R Ball Bearing Turbo. This turbo kit is great for the Street and Drag. Reliable Spool up with a little extra kick to it. This kit is a direct bolt on, no modifications needed. 700+ RWHP is possible w/ the correct tuned setup. A 5-bolt downpipe is required, as the OEM downpipes are only 4-bolt and will not fit.

Couldn't imagine the drive ability with a pair of 2871r's I had the 2876r on my s13 that use to hot full boost by about 4.5k so would be slightly more laggier on a 300,

But then it's all down to how you drive them if you can keep them on boost most of the time it would be an animal

funny thats all most the same as what cpz said about them

he recommended the GTX range due to having a Billit alloy comp so spoooooooooooling time was less

Mate that is a WIN-WIN agreement in my book! Cute little boy there:thumbup1:

What's the overall aim of this engine build Mark, are you looking to crack the 1/4 mile sub 11 seconds?

Look at the 1/4 mile leaderboard and then look at how much cash has gone into them zeds sub 11s 15k with a vg I would say and not on a manual box
