Hey guys

As im currently pretty crippled following a recent knee surgery ive decided to take the time to sort the out the little things that bug me on the zed.

First and foremost is the position of the pedals, especially the brake pedal

As you can see the brake pedal is right over towards the accelerator pedal, and with the combination of my size 12 feet, it makes any sort of heel and toe impossible. Ive had the car for 5 years now and im kinda used to it, but the misses really struggles with it.

Ive had a look underneath the dash at the top of where the pedal mounts to the servo and I cannot see any obvious adjustment to move it back over. The pedal arm doesnt look like its been bent as there are no obvious signs of stress in the black paint of the pedal arm

Has anyone come across this before and is there anyway i can move the pedal to a more central position without having the remove the pedal arm and bend it.

Cheers

Nick

Thats defo been done for heel-and-toe, to be exact it's been done so you can use the ball of your foot for braking and other side of your foot for bliping the accelerator

accelerator has been bent so it lines up with the modified/bent brake pedal diagonally

I've seen it before, usually done by drivers with small feet... i.e Japanese people are quite little, so would explain this being done before car came into the country

Cheers Jeff. Looks like mine has been bent quite far up the pedal arm.
