Cheers, she's not a bad old girl :-) She attracts nice comments, think people have their own memories of them...

does ps3 counts ? :)

Erm, kinda

Current cars are in my sig, more info on them here: Pulsar & MR2

I'm sticking with the Zed, Pulsar & MR2, having finally found 3 Japanese nutters from the 90s that tick all the boxes for me. Although I would like an Evo3 RS at one point next year.

I hate the Toyota, it's just so good at what it does (launching) and is so heavily modified I can't bring myself to get rid! Plus, it's impossible to get anywhere in the 4WD class in drag racing without a dedicated pit-crew and unlimited funds, so RWD it is!

I always wanted a MK2 XR2, but only ever had a MK3 XR2i. Although the second car I ever owned was a MK2 1.4S in white. I loved that car, we used to have so much fun in it. First vehicle I ever clocked 100mph in (it seemed a lot back then)!

Loving the old school Ford with pepperpots!

Great collection there Roobarb!

I used to have a mk3 xr2i, what a racket on the motorway though just waiting for the engine to bounce through the bonnet!

and an astravan

I love the sprint car, what engine does that have?

It still has an A series as I wanted to see what I can squeeze out.

1430cc lightened balanced (revs from 1600 to 8000rpm).

Large valve full race head ported polished

High lift rockers

Race cam and duplex timing gear.

Lightened, V wedged offset ground balanced crank

Weber 40 carb

Lightened clutch and flywheel and staight cut gear box

Electric water pump

Used to have NOS but have taken that off now

and loads of other stuff

Last rolling road showed 145bhp which is not bad for a car that two people can lift up and move around the garage!

Currently in my toy box :thumbup1:

Nice Fez Sambo - I hated the "fast Fords" back in the 1980s but today they are old school cool mate!! I quite like the Mk1 XR2 as well - that and the Capri, XR3i, RS turbo and the (very expensive nowadays) Mk2 Escort RS2000!

So you have ditched the CVH and dropped a Zetec in there...? Nice!!

As for my own toys - my ZX is the toy, but I have a shiney silver German daily driver..... And a little Rav for the winter (we get our fair share of ice and snow in the Chilterns - LOL); which Julia uses every day....

Some nice cars around :-)

Yeah, wanted a bit more poke without going mad and maintaining an ounce of reliability and so far, so good.

Love the Z but feel the powers a bit lazy at times so enjoy ragging the tits off the XR as can be a bit more satisfying in a strange way!

Nice toys Rich its not often we get a chance to see your cars:thumbup:

Cheers Gary - like you mate, I am always cleaning and polishing the cars; and I have loads of pics knocking around.......
