Been trawling to find info on the wheels i have on my zed. I picked these up for £200 complete with all chrome bots and complete alloy centre caps a couple of years ago.

My wheels are 18" Gewalt specialist drift spec rims, 3 piece sizes 7.5 and 8.5 with an offset +44

Since then i have never seen them on another car, nor on any site, or for sale. but have found a guy who bought some of the last ever wheels before the manufacture closed.

He paid £3800 us, just for the wheels alone earlier this year ( £2350 at todays prices)

Ive had someone offer me $200 each for just the centre caps.

My plan is to have them totally polished, professionally powder coated back to original as new condition, my mums other half is a cnc machine enginner and will make me exact copies of the centre caps from billet alloy how ever many i want.

Centre caps

I knew they were rare, but not bad for £200

I am pretty sure Gewalt don't exist anymore. You're highly unlikely to get new centre caps. From experience, you're best off keeping your eyes on Japanese Yahoo Auctions in the event that some happen to pop up.

I've been lucky on there from time to time, but it really is pot-luck.

The best way of getting these would be to us an agent. I use a guy out in California who owns http://www.wheel-choice.com He'll ship to a local place in Japan and then they'll onward ship it. He takes a small cut, but it's not excessive. He's Japanese, so has an account on there and can bid/pay etc.

**edit**

Seems it's shut down now, but there are a few other places that will act as agent for you.

Those wheels look almost exactly the same as the Stock Motegi wheels i had on my prelude before i swapped them out.

Very similar! Except these are cast monoblock.

Cheers Guys.

Have asked a guy ( Import Dealer) if he can help me with them. I think that bit would be the expensive bit to get made so thank you for that.

if you want mine you can have them. I have 3 center caps. In exchange for the exact sizes of our center caps so i can order some. as I was going to replace all mine with plain simple ones anyway.
