i done it so they use the original 4 screw holes ( speaker grill ) u can of course make another hole to put another screw at the pointed end but this means u will be making a hole in your door card

Like these mate, was going to make a set but my little incident stopped that haha. As long as the car is ok properly I'll have a set off you in the new year.

Good price! Do these have mdf speaker rings for a good solid mounting surface mark? Also, you say the 4 screws to mount the speaker grille, you mean these screw to the door card? Is there any chance of making some that require me to detach that bottom corner of the door card and bolt the pod straight to the door so that they're mounted securely?

they can be mounted how u want m8 .. just done them in away that u dont have to Make New holes in the door card

 

there is no need for Bolts Normal screws will do well and yes they are made from 6mm MDF backs and rings they are quit light with out speaker

 

the problem your going to have is the pods need to be screwed from the back ... and the way u want to do it has to be done from the front ( bolt on to Door )

think about it Bolts on pods u can not do the nuts up as they be in the door ... other way means Nuts on Show ..
