Of having my car off the road the longest? 6 years today!!!! lol

Sometimes I just can't believe I haven't broken and scrapped the car after the absolute nightmare I've had with people working on my car - But I'm glad I haven't cos I still look at it and think what a beautiful car and think once it's back on the road, it'll all be worth it...........................

I owe a ton of grattitude to the guys at Custom Exotics for what they've done and allowing my car to be in their workshop while I've worked on it. I 100% know my car wouldn't be still around if it wasn't for them them!!!!

6 years and 3 months me mate, then on for about 10 months, and back off again!!!!!! Once this build is done though, she will want for nothing....

My tax ran out 03/06, but in storage before while I built the house, still starts when ever I connect the battery though so no reason to get rid yet :-) even on petrol from 2005.

It took me 6 years to get Yaseens damaged slicktoop back on the road.

I did however get distracted by restoring /modding sevdral other cars and a couple of houses:laugh:

my Uk 94 has been off road for 2 years in feb, it gets started every week, and is always washed and polished, but in that time i have completely changed it back to stock look, revamped the leather interior, fixed any issues, am currently on the last stage of sill and arch work, then thats it, a very very late spec 94 UK TT manual that is rust free and fully working. Starts instantly and purrs as it should. Hopefully just after xmas will be all legal and ready to see if it was all worth it.

Flippin' 'eck.....

....I'd have given up after all that time!! Top marks for your enthusiasm guys; I'd not have the patience to keep a car off the road for that long.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
