in'it just ... i would never use those crimp joiners all was solder stuff like that

but besides that if u look there is loads of bare wires too thats just been twisted together

 

black and white wires in the middle of the bunch

Id say US car matey. as there is no room for the battery where the battery goes on a UK zed, also the boost solenoid is mounted on the battery side.
