Nothing you guys haven't seen before but I started to detail my engine bay today, it's going to be a long arsed process! Did Nissan do some kinda rust preventer from new? Cos the engine bay is covered in a kind of wax oil stuff all round the inner wings etc...

 

Not really a bad thing but doesn't look to clever when it's just sitting on painted metal

Wait till the bug really gets you, then you'll find you remove the odd item to clean a bit further. Then shiney items will start to apper to make it look even better.......
