well i took my rear seat out today to find i have a couple of small puddles of water under the rear seat no idea how the got there or where from so looking for and ideas on this, i did have a leak around the rear wiper because the seal rubber was worn and not sealing correctly, i fixed that today but can't see that causing water to get under the rear seats, i do have a very slight targa leak but thats onto the fron seat

haha yes, my targa's dampen the front seats only too ( or did) and the rear hatch leaks and fills the back of the boot( again did but its not about me).. so i kinda have two questions.. 1- do you park on a gradient.. and 2- are your back seat passengers incontinent ? :-)

Do you have leaks any where else, condensation build up might be the cause, im having a horrendous time at the moment with a leak from my drivers side front targa, its now filling my A Pillar gauges up lol, but last night it took me almost 45 mins before i could move the car due to the amount of condensation on the inside of the windscreen, no doubt you are getting condensation build up inside the car, with the cold metal of the floor pan under the rear seats, and hot air in the cabin once driving its pooling under the seats.

i do park on a very slight gradient with the frond end up but not enough for the water to flow over where the height difference where these puddles are passenger side had slightly more water than the drivers side, definetly clean/rain water did drive the car yesterday so could be from boot area but that looks dry, although rear window does suffer with a huge amount of droplets of water on the inside of the screen, i get it on the windscreen too but not as bad

i dont think the rear wiper gromit helped it much as that used to pool on the inner plastic trim and used to flood out when i opened the tailgate

Have you had your gran sitting in the back of your zed??

it's a challenge to get anyone older than 12 to sit in the back of a zed lol

??? you are not trying hard enough, i can get 2 20 year old ladys in mine, both 5ft 4 lol, and i can get in the back of my zed and im 5ft 11, though i doubt id survive a bumpy road with out ending up with concussion.

I got a similar problem that started today. I seem to have huge puddles under all my wheels!

You can get just about anybody into the back seat. It's getting them back out that's the problem!

try up under the 1/4 panel trims, i had a zed leak in the rear of one of mine it was coming down from the tailgate hinges and running along the panel joins.

I had a similar problem a couple of years ago, it was a missing grommet. I can't remember if it was under the seat or behind the rear quarter panels now.
