Hello,

There are plenty of threads about oil - and each one will give you a different opinion!!!

But for what it's worth, unless your engine is seriously modified and you take it on the track regularly, then don't bother with 10w60. Nissan recommends a 10w40 semi synthetic which is still more than adequate - I use a fully synthetic myself; however I have heard that it's not good to use fully synthetic oil in a newly built engine until it is properly run in.

Stick with something like Castrol Magnatec 10w40 for the first 1000 miles and then change it, using the same again for another 4000 miles. After that upgrade to a fully synthetic if you want to....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Cheap 10w40 mineral based oil for first 1k ...

then go to 10w40 or 50 Fully synthetic Decent Branded oil for then after

dont forget to swap oil filters too
