Is the jap import alternator belt the same size as the uk one? I can't seem to get one that fits as still slips adjusted to the max!

Anyone got a part number?

I dont understand hes talking about alternator belt not water pump belt i thought they were seperate i didnt realize jdm cars had diffrent pulley sizes on there water pumps

Last I checked sure there all on one belt, except air con and power steering.

Water pump pulleys are different sizes for sure, euro spec maybe like it for motorways and jap more in town unsure why really.

Is it the viscous fan pulley which is a diffrent size on jdm cars then not the actual water pump itself .

yep you are 100% right the viscous fan bolts on to the Pump holding the pulley in place between them

Im still confused so jdm cars use the same water pump as uk cars but diffrent size viscous fan pulleys so diffrent lenght belts yes.

Ok thanks got it now, was a bit confused i was thinking pulley was part of the viscous fan itself .:thumbup1:
