HELP!!

I've got some matches...where would you like me to send them to mate?

Ooo.. now that is a big job....

to start with I'd go back over all the connectors that you undid and make sure they are seated right.

check the fuses in case you have accidentally blown any (or did you disconnect the battery?)

Around the thermostat area you've obviously got your PTU, and CAS, as you said you've check all connections, check again, clean everyone you can get to. Are you getting any sparks?

Don't think so as the plugs are soaked but not sooty, didn't unplug CAS just ptu and temp sensors, didn't disconnect battery

Replace the thermostat with your old one and try again.

If the thermostat is dud the car will turn over but WONT start.

Wet plugs would still happen as it will still put fuel in.

Its more than likely your PTU connectors or the EFI loom that was disturbed when you undid the PTU connections. Possibly the PTU itself, the heat and vibration plays havoc with the soldered board connections, and its possible its removal and refit prematurely caused its eventual failure.

Thermostat has absolutely no affect on the car starting.

My bad, i read it as the water temp thermostat that on the water pipe. Not the actual thermostat in it.

check for a spark first off, if its there its possibly happening at the wrong time, ie the cas has moved when you were poking about maybe? but its never going to start with flooded plugs, take them out and hit them with a blow torch or on the hob till they stop burning red fire and just blue flame is coming out.

Unplug the fuel pump fuse in the small black box Drivers side bulkhead.

Try to start it about 4 or 5 times.

Symptoms are of the water temp sender ECU side either disconnected, faulty wiring to it.
