Hi guys looking for some advise, just bought a set of 18" wheels and have no clue what size tires I need to look for, my zx had been lowered about 40mm, the rears are 9.5 and the fronts are 8.5, I don't want rubber bands but don't want huge tire walls either, can anyone give me an idea of what I should go for?

Cheers

Yup - perfect. I have the same combination myself - the tyres are not rediculously expensive in those sizes either. Plus the speedo is pretty much spot on (according to my sat nav); at 70 mph speedo and GPS agree and at 100 (not on the public road of course) it's only 1-2 mph out.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Ive got falken 452 all round from camskill good prices on there .:thumbup1:

265x35 rear

235x40 front

A touch of stretch is not unattractive, making 225 wide for the fronts which might eliminate rubbing and 255's therefore for the rear :thumbup1:.

265x35 rear = 9j

235x40 front 8j

so with 8.5/9.5j wheels your tyres will have a slight stretch to them nothing major
