I need to replace the rear rubber brake hoses. I would prefer an aftermarket pipe that replaces both the rubber and hard pipes for a direct connection to the caliper.

I've seen the Hel pipes sold by Z Centre, but they only replace the rubber hose.

Does anyone know of any suppliers of what I want.

have you got 4 wheel steering still?

I would think solid pipe is only suited for LOCKED hicas setup.

I want to replace both the hard and rubber pipes for a braided or flexible pipe, not a solid pipe

A solid pipe would be useless even if you did have the hicas locked out. The suspension movement alone would split the pipe.

Philp; Not much help but the only one I know of that went to the calliper were the ones that DTA did. All the others just replace the rubber hose, like the HEL ones.

Im not sure if a long run of braided flexi brake hose is good idea as even flexi hoses can slightly bulge/ expand under hard pedal pressure.Im sure thats why manufactures use steel or copper hard pipe on fixed chassis/body and rubber flexi on the moving suspension parts ie calipers / wheels .

See Anthonyd on here he sells complete braided lines to replace the flex and the short hard pipe from main connection to caliper

All ready done it to my car on rear and front

Is this a standard set he stocks or was it made up specially. Was it simply a direct connection between the existing hard pipe on the wheel arch and the caliper. Can you give me an idea of the price?

Thanks

Speak to AnthonyD he can give you Prices

the pipe will be from the Hard Line union on the chassis to the banjo on the caliper is self

this will eliminate the Standard Rubber line plus the Small hard line about 5" long thats bolted to the caliper/hub is self
