Just been on dlva site looking at private plates. Can't decided if I like them or not and come across this plate straight away i thought of jason farrows the beast its BBE45T it says £400 reserve so I take its up for auction .

Ahem - I quite like personalised plates....

 

....providing they actually mean something; and are not stupidly mis-represented to spell something so badly, that no-one gets it. Mine are my initials, so pretty standard....

 

DVLA's 'site is the best place to buy from; they are usually the cheapest and they include VAT and transfer charges in the price. Plus you know you're not going to get ripped off. The plate you refer to above is no doubt up for auction and will sell for a lot more then the £400 reserve, but you can get some bargains. I bought the plate I now have on my Z for £395 all in back in 1998; and a very similar one for £495 in 2006. They are "B" and "D" plates with one number followed by my 3 initials - and the matching "H" plate I have on Julia's car was only £295 inclusive!

Mine came with the car. Myself i wouldnt bother buying a private plate but seeing as it was already on, it may aswell stay on.
