Back from son's scouts remembrance service at the village hall.

Listened to an ex Raf pilot (90) who was 18 when he started flying against Jerry! Humbling to say the least.

I went to the service at the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas, had a lump in my throat as the Bugler played the Last Post..

 

It was an honour to be in the company of heroes of all ages.

 

If ever your passing on the A38 near Burton on Trent its well worth a visit at any time.
