LOL.. very good... :)

quite a nice reflection on how most Americans see the world.. there is only one world, "the US of A"

Obama I think Romney is a bit too thick for the job. He makes Bush look like Steven Hawkins.

shame that the Americans cant see that though. Brainwashed into some sort of political culture - I've got family in the states (very religious, Christin guys) who wish Obama was dead, how he's a terrorist, a muslim, doesnt care about the country etc etc etc, just because he's the leader of the opposition party... sad...

and another thing. The way the BBC have been running this as their top story over whatever has happened in the UK is really annoying. I agree that the Presidency of America is important to the World in general but it doesn't need to be covered so bloody much by the BBC.. Who bloody won would be enough. I'm sick to death of seeing them both in front of cheering and whooping morons, all the do is spout rhetoric and slogans. I honestly cant think of any of the policy's that either of stand for because they just spout crap to get the crowds cheering. Typical speech from one is " I love Ohio" and the crowd will think " I live their, I ll vote for him"

end rant...

4 years ago i was in new york when they were selling obama condoms on the street and this was the slogan they were shouting out :

"Remember the election with your next Erection"

lol,

not sure if that could ever happen here.

Now that I'd like to see

Ed: "Vote Labour, we're solid as a rock....forget Conservative's and that Cameron cock!"

David: "Vote Conservative 'cos Labour are gay, we'll reduse your taxes and increase our....uh, I mean your pay"

Pez: "Vote for Pez because I know **** all about politics.....so first I'll sort out the benefits bums, banish the illegals and radical extremists, hang the peado's and ensure fair taxes for all.....Like I said, I know **** all about politics but I still understand it better than these two ^^^^ chimps!"

It might well have been actually :)......class!!

If they are supposedly voting for the "leader of the free world" then surely the rest of the "free world" should be entitled to have its say too.....:shifty:

Yup - that's dead right for a country with a history that stretches back to...... ooh, a week ago last Tuesday!! America has no history; which is why nothing there is built to last and they are all about the "quick fix" for everything. So whoever wins will be out of favour come Friday tea time, as he will have failed to change anything immediately!!

i think a lot of yanks are blinded as to what romney will bring

Yes indeed mate - just like they were 4 years ago when Obama got voted in... Fact is, Obama has done bugger all as president and Romney is not really a credible, worthy opponent. If I were American, I'd probably go with Romney, simply because he's the republican candidate. And the republicans are the slightly more right-wing conservative party then the democrats - so, in my eyes, despite not being a really dynamic and charismatic alternative to Obama, I'd give him the chance as he surely could not be any worse!!!
