Shame i have a blue zed here with all the ECU's you could ever want and the internal wiring.

Its not just that - I need all new interior as it stinks, the engine has emptied all its oil, there is loads of leaves in the exhaust along with the stuff from the sewer

ive probably got a load of interior stuff here you can have and probably seats soon.

The insurance company may give a good pay out so you can start again on another??

Well the company that picked the car up this morning did a good job at trying to finish it off... Destroyed the front and rear bumpers dragging it up onto the truck with the winch

Going back to this again briefly....been speaking to Network Rail as part of a group of people who are suing as a collective. NR have come back to us recently and admitted liability for the blocked culvert, but NOT admitting liability for the accident as a result of the blocked culvert!

Now as I class myself as someone with a slightly above average education I am finding this difficult to understand. The smaller floods were reported to Network Rail in the past and they did nothing about the culvert at the time....yet when the big flood happened and left people homeless and car-less - they turned up the day after and unblocked it straight away! Now come on, how the hell can they now turn around and say that the flooding was not their fault (due to the blocked culvert) even though it was reported to them a few times before they actual did anything? (1 day too late)

Struggling to understand their logic here guys!

I watched that rail program last night at almost midnight and a flood occurred on it, irony is the network rail employee was digging in at this flooded buried grate on the road above the tracks and he was complaining to camera that the council have been told about it but have done nothing to clear it or to keep it clear :mad2:.

I think what they are saying is if you want to sue then take us to court. Not admitting liability for the flood even though they admit the culvert was blocked is what they are going to base there case on but it sounds like a week case Dean. Infact it sounds daft.

Yep they just want to put you off. If it`s proven that the flooding is a DIRECT result of something they are responsible for , it`s their fault. Simple. They are (NO PUN INTENDED) trying to muddy the waters. As they say when having an accident ..never admit liability. They`ll probably pay up as an ahem gesture of good will.

Only just seen this Dean, sorry to see hope it all gets sorted out for you and you return to the Zed scene. Don't let it get you down buddy, Network Rail are at fault, so should pay out.

I agree....

......And if they don't then you and your fellow residents should get in touch with your insurance companies (car and buildings) who will no doubt happily pursue NR (or their insurers) to recover their own losses after paying you all out....!

Good luck mate - don't let them get away with it!

Richard:cool3:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
