As title describes PCV succesfully fitted very tight in there though but no smoking on idle :) happy days.

Also heater matrix is leaking so I have TEMPORARILY bypassed it succesfully, but due to heater pipe kinking when bent, I had to use a metre due to angles of pipes!! made it look neat though, next A/C pump removal!! Anyone every done this??

is the ac already degassed? removing its not hard really its just the miles and miles of crap associated with it.

The AC system does need regas down to the fact it never gets used, if it's hot day the roofs come off, it's my weekend car so it comes out on nice days so i'm doing what alot of people do and removing whats necessary.

I am assuming it doesnt need the gas taken out by virtue to the fact that the AC doesnt work, anyway of checking do you know?

Yeah on the passengerside inner wing next to the fuel filter you will find two metal lines with like tyre valves. Push in the valve like you letting down a tyre if it hisses theres gas.

Hi thats useful info, all I could see is 2 pipes with a red and a blue cap on it, I had to twist them and there was no gas? is this right?

I've been off this week but am working all weekend unfortunately but as it stands all my car now needs is to be used!! I actually have as far as i'm aware a faultless Zed thanks to PCV valves and hoses being replaced and bypassing the heater matrix, I was going to sell it because when it started smoking I was advised it was turbo seals and I only had the car about 5 months at that stage, so I took it off the road. But after talking to different people and trying a few things have realised its fine!! So when I can get re insured which won't be until Feb time next year due to ill weather (as this is a toy not my daily driver) I would be up for meeting up and seeing what you've done your zed??

yeah undo those coloured dust caps, you will see the valve inside. the gas is toxic though so dont breath it in.

I did breathe in that gas I'm just coming down from my high :) only joking, but yeah no gas so system is empty and waiting to be removed
