I bought a front mount intercooler and installed it and now the car sounds like it is choking on air. The RPMs won't go over 2,000 and it sounds like it drowns itself in petrol. I have no idea why this is happening can anyone help. :(

Have you plumbed it in correctly, do you have any photos? and what front mount is it.

Swop the two pipes on the Right and side around ...

 

Although it sounds like that, might be a good idea to find out what hes done first just to confirm it. lol

You need to swap the pipes over on 1 side ..Lee

yeah i did the same thing, same intercooler too, just swap the pipes on one side,

 

but mines up the other way??? did you have any problems getting the bumper to fit afterwards?

Should look like this, the correct way up and the pipes correctly fitted.

Rotate it 90 degrees and bung one of the pipes up.
