Dual air filters

Who has one of them fitted and are they better than single cones? Want to swap mine but not sure about which one to go for.

I am not talking down to anyone I am expressing my opinion on what I am buying and as usual for this forum get a load of people telling me I'm wrong for spending my money on my car my way.

FFS WTF have I done??? Trying to help??? OK then I won't fvckin bother. I am not the only one who dissagrees either. I WAS TRYING TO HELP FFS. However, for the future you can go fvckin stuff it up your ar5e...

... along with your melted brake pads and discs cos you've got bugger all chance of getting anywhere legally when you RACED WITH THEM ON A TRACK.... racing products don't have warranties, and road products don't have warranties for track use - therefore NO get out...

You weren't trying to help as usual you were trying to be a smart a*se at someone elses expense. And also don't try teach me about the law you aren't clever enough by half to even try. It isn't a matter of warranties it is a matter of a duty of care!

Once again your paranoia lets you down - if you REALLY think I was trying to be a smart ar5e then re read and re read again if you still don't get it. I tried to help, nothing more, nothing less. You've had a bad experience with your brake disks, I seem to remember a lot of people mentioning R33/34 setups - you went against it and look what happened. I mention the kind of boost you were running would end up in tears - you ignore it - once again you lose out. I see a pattern - you ask questions then if you don't like the answer, you ignore it - what is the point in asking in the first place???? If you make a mistake don't try and turn it round on me by saying I was being a smart ar5e!!! If you read me that way then furry muff but don't take it to heart ffs....

Funny how you said about the high boost AFTER the engine blew - thanks a bunch for the after the fact advice, very helpful! You started talking on this thread about the SE dual air filters after I had bought it - not before, again "help" more like criticism offered after the fact. The only pattern in this is that you wait until someone has a problem then act like a know it all after the fact. From reading what people seem to say about your technical ability it can't be faulted however your sarcasm and timing leaves a lot to be desired. IMHO tongue.gif

OK then maybe you only see my posts AFTER your stuff has blown up - if you look back, I actually said your boost was too high the DAY BEFORE your car blew up so it should have been fresh enough in your memory LOL tongue.gif

Ooooh just look what I've found biggrin.gif Your contradicting me was the day before your engine popped - http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/ubbforum/Forum6/HTML/000952.html

Check it out, I think its YOUR timing that is out... tongue.gif

Anyway, why are we argueing? I've said I aint being a smart ar5e so its up to you, take it or leave it....

Ummm read it again duff! The thread was started by someone else with detting problems! You made your comments about his car not mine! You actually didn't comment on my boost at all on that thread! You only commented on my problems after the engine blew up - like I said! Oh and I'm not arguing I'm explaining the situation in as simple terms as I can so that you can understand it. Mainly because you so easily seem to get confused, sarcastic and agressive.

Not from what I can see - the way you come across is as being a smart ar5e contradicting my post saying if it dets add octane booster...

This proves my point EXACTLY - TEXT CAN BE READ IN SO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS as has been proved between yourself and I on more than one occasion wink.gif I see the way you write stuff as you contaradicting me, and you read my posts as being a smart ar5e.

Ho well, takes all kinds to make a world init...

Oh when I ask a question and get many differing suggestions and answers, it is inevitable that I will ignore what somebody suggests as it is impossible to do what everybody suggests when you just have one 300 to do it too.

Anyway this is pointless! I detest your smart a*se sarcasm and you being an after-the-fact-know-it-all and you don't like me either so there seems little point continuing to slag each other off on this point as it is now worn out.

Who said I didn't like you??? I've never met you. Our wires have got crossed several times before so lets drop it eh... I don't expect you to take notice of every post at all... neither do I expect you to ignore every single post though wink.gif

Oh, and you started it LOL

CheerZ,

Andy

I want to say "No you started it" but I really can't be bothered as I am currently dealing with the brake supplier and to be honest taking him apart financially and legally is going to be far more fun than simply jousting with you on here.

Actually we have met, it was at JAE/Billing on the Sunday when you tried to sell me a polished plenum! That had me pissing myself all afternoon.

Really??? LOL Hope you dried out and didn't stain the leather on the way home hehe
