Thought 3gBrakes deserved a bit of praise. I ordered a set of grooved discs and greenstuff pads at the beginning of the week to be fitted friday morning, but their supplier kept f**cking them about, and they ended up not getting them till friday. But they machined them and dropped them off personally to me in Ipswich. Unfortunately it was too late for my mechanic to fit them today so I'm gonna do it myself tomorrow, but top marks to them for putting themselves out.
They have also applied temperature sensitive paint to the rim, so that I can get some info on the sort of temps I'm reaching on the pads. They asked if they could do this because they've been reading the forum and see that serveral others have problems with warping.
Basic idea is that with the temp. data they might be able to rig up some ducting system for the brakes.
Anyway, thought they deserved a mention for going above and beyond. good work fellas!
