What is the max RPM on a Z32?

Hi guys,

While I was sitting in traffic this morning I was wondering does anyone know what the maximum RPM is on a standard Z32 TT with the speed limiter removed? Can the VG30DETT handle 8000RPM+ safely or would it need stronger internals?

    Unless you have a JWT eprom, then your going to hit the limiter at 7000rpm. JWT increase the RPM by 200.

     

    I think the auto changes gear even earlier than that because of the gearbox ecu.
