Hi guys. Had my Z for around 15 years now so been in here a few times for your help :winkiss: Regret to admit I still know very little about how the thing actually works :confused1:

 

When the weather gets colder, my HICAS warning light comes on for a few seconds when the engine is cold and then goes off again. It sometimes does this a couple of times before it warms up properly.

 

Does/could this indicate a problem?

is the level in the power steering pot ok, mine use to do this when a little low.

I've had the same problem when i first bought it and once or twice recently. I just topped up the power steering pot and that solved it. which reminds me i still need to try that again. having to do it twice in two years though could be the thing trying to tell me there's a leak :sad:
