Front mount on a 89 spec bumper

Can a front mount fit onto a standard 89 spec bumper or would you need to change to a different type?

Been offered on by a mate who no longer needs it but I have never seen anyone using one on the standard front, is this because of not enough room behind or not enough airflow coming in?

But would I get enough airflow through the 89 to make it better or would upgrading the sides be a better option?

The bumper itself, not seen anyone with a 89 bumper and a front mount fitted behind it. Which has lead me to question if its for a reason other than looks

front mounts and z32s yeah i recon mostly cosmetic prated smic have more advantages. i think the reason you see less behind the 89 is mostly because people as you say think about airflow, also the 89 will hide the majority. youd be on your hands and knees to be able to see most esp if the plate is mounted like mine
