hi,

my car is in the body shop having bodkit etc fitted and full respray - just got the new clear side light/indicators for the scarab, but now they show up the fogs - i was going to put the ducts in but would prefer the spot lights - is ther an upgrade/aftermarket set of fogs that fit that dont have the ribbing to match the new lights

where could i get the small bulb holder for the lights to add the side lights to the unit

regards

There are T10 bulb holders on ebay for your new position side lights, take your pic bud.

Know what you mean about the ribbing on the lens but there is nothing else I'm afraid that I know about, live with it if I was you and fit HID's in those fogs and you'll be amazed :cool3:

Welcome to the forum.

The red spade ended wire is the stock positive and comes from the 3 pin plug and goes to the kits blue wire and needs to be sleeved, it only as a 'modern' female spade on it as I crimped it on to marry up with this blue male spade on the HID kit, as some like in this case use stock bullet connections which I cut off or replaced.

The other spade ended wire from the new kit, the black goes onto the black stock one that is on the housing so take that off or crimp into it whatever.

Stock fog light bulb is discarded.

I have both hid low beem and fog lights install but when there both turn on about 10 min the low beem start to flicker and then left low beem and fog light goes out..Is it anything you recomend to fix this issue..thanks you been very helpful

What springs to mind is to swap your ballasts about with the right side and then report.

Also, they will flicker if the power is dying ?
