there the ones on Ebay .... there ok but no timing marks on the main crank pulley ..

 

think the only ones that do are unorthodox branded ones ... its very important for that timing mark :)

could you not make your own mark before fitting? i noticed these earlier. lots of good things to be said about funky pulleys.

Mark, if you make your own mark on a pulley how would you go about checking the timing is actually right?

i dunno about vg blocks specifically but in general relying on the crank pulley marking isnt the most reliable way to designate tdc in any event. my old engine had no timing marks on the pulleys and the top pulley was a vernier type. the tdc was designated by a dial gauge.

thing is aswel there sno real need for this one to have a timing mark as its only an artilleryman belt pulley, the timing can be designated with astock would should needs be then this place on without ever disturbing the timing belt.

no there not connected to timing belt .. but the original main pulley does have timing mark on it .. for setting up the CAS unit ...

if there happen to be a problem with timing with the new ones installed ... there is No way of checking to see if its set at 15*

as No Markings ... the only way to do it is refit the Original pulley
