Does anyone know of a company or even a person that could be a Uk distributor for Twinz Design? (Not Z-Centre)

I'm after some of their brilliant stuff but they tell me the nearest distributor they have is in mainland Europe which makes delivery prices absolutely crazy!

They are currently looking for a UK distributor so I thought I might try and help.

There have been many discussions concerning the twins distribution, the only place is twinchip in Europe, they expect too much from a UK distributor to make it viable, which is why so far it hasnt happened. Jeff at Zedworld was looking into it.

This has been covered several times.

I think it's more down to the numbers they want up front. The US market is huge so no probs with the big suppliers there buying large stock levels, confident in moving them on. The UK market is, relatively, very small so most potential suppliers/distributors with rightfully think twice about investing in the required high levels of expensive stock. Also, as the oem are commanding such a high price, the distributor would have low profit margins to keep the cost realistic to what us tight gits are prepared to pay. All things considered, a bit too much of a risk.

I personally have some twinz goodies, as do quite a few others in the uk. I imported from twinchip but combined the shipping with another club member as they will ship multiple items in 1 box, this significantly lowered the delivered price. IMO, they have exhausted the 2 major Z distributors in the UK without success for a reason. Last option, MJP?

Nicely put and well explained Joel. You've adequately filled me in on the whole reasoning behind it all. Thanks (thumbs up smiley thingy)
