Struggling to narrow it down to three but I'll try :)

Metallica at Donington Park in 2006 - played Master of Puppets album in full from start to finish. Was at my first proper music festival and was just incredible

Rammstein, Newcastle arena February 2012 - more flames, fireworks, crazy sh1t than you have ever seen. And genuine album-perfect sound. Soooo happy theyre playing Donington next year!!

Struggling to get a third, but Rage against the machine, Deep Purple, Foo Fighters, Bon Jovi, Linkin Park, Atreyu, Kiss, Faith No More, Whitesnake, Slipknot and Skindred are all some crackers that spring to mind!

I could carry on and name others forever, lol

Only been to one proper concert, Pink Floyd at Earls Court. Can't be topped now so I don't bother anymore :)

There was a series of concerts one Xmas / New Year in the late '70s in Olympia called (I think) the Great British Music Festival. In fact, a bit of googling and here's the handbill!

And Budgie were a last minute addition. We went on the New Year's Eve so that's Thin Lizzy, Budgie, Steve Marriott, Steve Gibbons, Climax Blues Band and Status Quo all in one day.

Empire Pool (now known as Wembley Arena) in '74 Welcome Back My Friends to the Show that Never Ends, Ladies and Gentlemen, Emerson Lake and Palmer....

And just to show we still go out these days, Three Bonzos and a Piano at Windsor last month. Hi there, happy you could stick around, like to introduce Legs Larry Smith, drums...

PS Steams, was that the Animals Tour?

i've only been to a couple of UB40 concerts which were the dogs b*ll*cks and a guns n roses which was the worst concert i'd ever been to, dont get me wrong im a huge fan of guns n roses but got to the 02 arena at 7, supporting band the thin lizzies came on at 7.30 and guns and roses were supposed to come on at 9!

2 hours later they came on by this time i was knackered as i'd been at work since 4am and slept through the first 2 songs lol only i could fall asleep during a rock concert lol

My very first was Status Quo, Glasgow Apollo 76, the live double album/CD is still out there on Vertigo.

AC/DC, If You Want Blood tour, 78 ? Glasgow Apollo.

Best ? Pink Floyd, Earls Court, The Wall 1980.

Most recent, Roger Waters, MEN Arena, The Wall, this May 2012.

Sorry, lies there, Kevin Bridges, Comedian Tuesday night at the SECC. Very funny !

Been to quite a few in my time.

Alan......

Erm three? Probably Nirvana at Reading (think it was 92), Foo Fighter in 2002, & Stereophonics same year. Off to see Nickelback in a couple of weeks. But I've been to loads. Everything from The Cure, Sisters of Mercy & The Mission in my Goth days to The Housemartins, A-Ha & Wet Wet Wet in the 80s. Also seen Oasis, Blur, Stone Roses, Leftfield, Goldie, Above & Beyond, Fat Boy Slim, Morrissey, James, Manic Street Preachers, Jamiroquai, even The Wurzels lol!

Top 3 for me is as follows:

1- Green Day - Time of you life ( Glasgow green, Was actually a festival which included - Marlyn Manson, Eminem, Papa Roach, Travis etc )

2- Stereophonics - Secc Glasgow 2010

3- Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Hampden Park 2009?

Most suprising act iv seen was Marlyn Manson, Awesome live!!

Used to go to quite a few concerts at the Manchester Apollo in my younger days n if you lurked around the stage door after, you would often get invited in to meet them. Too expensive these days!!

No mate (sadly) it was the Pulse tour, I say sadly but it was an awesome concert. I was due to go on the second night but because of the "accident" with the seats collapsing, I ended up at the opening night. Still would have taken the fall just to have the band come and say hello to me in hospital. lol
