no indicators but hazards work ??????????????????

hi all,

 

Coming home from work indicators stopped working but hazards still graft,

 

checked fues under bonnet and there ok, but cant understand how or why

 

they have suddenly given up,

 

any ideas ??????????????????????

Take the pod off and perhaps loosen or tighten the hazard assy, it is not disengaging and so not allowing your winkers to work, sure it's something to do here so have a look and play about.

i have a nightmare with a problem on mine.... turned out to he a short at one indicator...

 

however I don't think that is what's wrong with yours.... have a look at the indicator stalk and connection and maybe the the fuse in the drivers foot well.

the hazard one is top row second form the front...

 

If it has gone, then you have to work out why it blew.. check from water in the area.

I had this on mine. There is a little black box connected to the wiring loom in rear drivers wing(near the arial). This often fails and causes the Simpsons you have. I managed to get mine working again the first time by unplugging and plugging back in.

yet again can i just say what a brill place this is !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

been out to sort it checked fuses, black box in boot and in temper bashed the

hazard pod (as suggested in a round about kind of way) which brough the indictors back on :-)
