cheers mark can u actually buy the replacement bose speakers then will let u know about mounts tomoz

na there will be all most worn out by this time now ... Normally perish around all the edges

you can fit another set of after market 6.5" in them ... but all so does depend on how your head unit is wired up to them

as the bose system have Mini Amps built in .. if your on Stock head unit then just replace speakers ..

if u have after market head unit then it would be best to make sure there wired directly not vir the mini amps

due to most New head units will out put more watts per channel then the original bose system

cheers bud its a aftermarket head unit but its wired to the bose speakers with the amps to do it right i will have to disconnect the amps for some aftermarket speakers

yes and no ...

the Bose box's have a mini amp in them but its only like 15watts Per box ( channel ) .. kinda crap

but this was to get around the Standard head unit low output to over come the rd noise in the rear of the car

where as your after market head unit is more like 25>35watts Per channel it would be wise to by pass the mini amps and wire direct to head unit

for better sound and out put

I've now got the bose speaker box's fitted in the rear, found it a chew on because i couldn't remove the rear seat. but it was totally worth it in the end.

I bought these speakers form ebay

Service was excellent, and they sound great.

These for the rears or doors? also any modifications needed?

I've got them in the rear in the bose speaker box's, direct fit. And they will fit the doors too with slight modification.

The speakers in the picture aren't the same as the ones in the link, although they are the same size.

Is the first and second picture the same speakers with some grill on top?

yeah, I made a black rubber gasket to cover the whole left from the original speakers and then fitted a 6x9 grill to cover the seem. all held together with a couple of BA bolts
