Will suspension struts from a TT fit onto a SWB? what`s the difference if they don't?

Many thanks

i think the only difference is the stiffness or rebound rate something along those lines due to the weight distrubution. i seem to remeber miester doing lwb and lwb for this reason. but psychcally they would fit depends what you want out the car doesnt it.

Daz if you are talking about the Meister Rs from Mr Isherwood then they will be a straight fit. And they are fabulous. Meister r developed a lower spring rate option specially for the SWB. It makes no odds if its TT or NA.

They are a brilliant allround solution for SWB cars... And long overdue.

i have them on mine:winkiss:

other posters on this thread are referring to stock units i think. And probably UK and J spec have different rates. They are all in second place behind the Meister Rs. IMO.. IMO:closedeyes:

Thanks guys, sorry for the late thankyou, but I got side tracked :)

Anyway, the reason I asked was I have the old set up from my TT that was perfect until I fitted BCs, I need to give Andy some replacements as I have bought his meisers :) so was just making sure that he would have no problems with them :)

So yes Pete, I'm excited to fit the miesers mate, I will be able to compare them to the BCs

from a TT onto a SWB makes no sense. Did you mean from a LWB onto a SWB ?

Either way - fitment is all the same.
