just been out in her.. that car, sounds mint! and pulls like a train. i need uprated turbos and screamer pipes in my life.

so is this section of manifold for use with an internal wastegate? to seperate turbulance from exhaust gas/wastegate? exhaust gases exit through the larger pipe towards downpipes, and the smaller dumps to atmosphere when gas is regulated by the internal wastegate flap.

ah ok. is this because the is no gasket of any kind at the point where its split? only on the outer seal, not the inner split seal.

yeah when you look at the rear face there is an I shaped divider that divides the normal exhaust gases from those coming from the waste gate. when you look at it you will see there a gap maybe half a mm this allows gasses to pass from the exhaust into the dump tube as it where. i dont think thats a good thing. a few of the us guys have messed about with these. il try and find it for you.

eggs, my car is going to be primarily at santa pod but still usable on the road at the moment! not that bothered about track at the mo dont want the risk plus i'd have to buy some serious stopping power, which i cant afford at the mo! just had to buy a new roof for my house and wont recover from that for a while!!

yeah however this is less important when theyre both going into the exhaust my understanding was that with it going to atmostphere you get boost creep.
