Help does anyone know of a mechanic in London area that can work on my zx

I have had it off the road for the last year as developed a problem with intermittant loss of power. Need someone to work on it who knows what to do as Nissan have had no luck finding the problem

Any suggestions greatly appreciated

Take it or get it shipped up to Zedworld....

If nissan cant fix it what chance do you think a local garage would have... you need a specialist, there is really only one.

The best way is if you have some sort of ability yourself (or you might get someone on here to help) and do all the regular checks first, this will rule out heap of issues.

then if the car still wont run right take it to Zedworld.

check out the FAQ for info on stuff.

but the basic things are:

check all connectors are clean (yes some of them are difficult to undo and don't miss the MAF one), fuses & battery ones as well.

make sure you have the right spark plugs, oil, and filters.

check the throttle bodies are set right.

check the TPS voltage.

check the timing with a light.

check for fuel leaks on the fuel rail.

check for vac/boost leaks (you really need a plug and compressor for this to be done right).

check for error codes (on the ecu).
