That`s it!!!! Had enough!! JAE Dream is over :(

Bonnet closed, dummy has been spat!!! just no time left for JAE :(

I`ve literally changed every ecu, relay, fuse 3 times and the bitch still wont start :( ...I`ve done process of elimination on most stuff and sick of it now, tried the pump ecu and relay in my tt and they work fine, I`ve broken my series 2 ptu getting it out ,lucky I had another and still wont start,

so..symptoms now are, it`s turning over and neat petrol smell from exhausts, not even a hint of firing, I have NO spark on spark plugs :( ..spark plugs are very wet

The pump is pumping approx 1 litre of fuel in 25 seconds

I have ripped out all of my immobiliser system and reconnected the loom :(

I cant even make it to Zedworld now :(

I am just pissed off !!!!!

Come on Dazza, a couple of days ago there was no way I was going to JAE. Now I am just because you asked me to :) get a lift with someone if you need to, you'll only make me jealous if you bring your ragtop anyway ;)

Now I`m even more pissed, now I know your going!!:) After each hour passes I do keep thinking, "she will start in the morning" I will honestly try my best :)

My thinking is that Yes it does, but I may be wrong. You certainly don't want it flapping about tho' mate.

Its only because I tried another ecu this afternoon, but its just dawned on me that I never bolted it down, so could have been a waste of time

Sorry to hear about your zed, If you need anything just ask i will pop over mate.

Thanks Paul, much appreciated mate:) have a good time at JAE :)

Daz, there's no rubbed though wires around the fuse box, that's been relocated is there?

Don`t think so mate? I will deffo have another look though :)

It doesnt have to be bolted down. The NA I just sold run fine with it just flapping about, but I guess it could have been resting on the metalwork. I did a manual conversion on that car and it wouldn't start (no spark whatsoever but had fuel) - I had a faulty ECCS relay in the main fuse box - its the same as the TT one so may be worth a look mate. If you can get it going with your TT oneI'll give you a replacement for your TT. Come on mate you have to go. lol

I`m LOOKING ON THe LID now... LAMPS AND STUFF, ....AIR CON, EGI, IGN COIL, SUB FAN????? NO ECCS

sorry bold !!

I hope it fixes it then! lol

Just looked back at my old thread and I put --

"In the main fuse/relay box above the passenger footwell, look for the green EGI relay. My fuse/relay layout was completely different to the lid for some reason. Not sure of its exact function, but its first in line before the PTU & CAS have a chance to send signals to the coil packs. "

if this works I`m going to bum you in your tent :) just going outside now :D
