Bonnet closed, dummy has been spat!!! just no time left for JAE :(

 

I`ve literally changed every ecu, relay, fuse 3 times and the bitch still wont start :( ...I`ve done process of elimination on most stuff and sick of it now, tried the pump ecu and relay in my tt and they work fine, I`ve broken my series 2 ptu getting it out ,lucky I had another and still wont start,

 

so..symptoms now are, it`s turning over and neat petrol smell from exhausts, not even a hint of firing, I have NO spark on spark plugs :( ..spark plugs are very wet

 

The pump is pumping approx 1 litre of fuel in 25 seconds

 

I have ripped out all of my immobiliser system and reconnected the loom :(

 

I cant even make it to Zedworld now :(

 

I am just pissed off !!!!!

I also want to say thanks to Jamie @ Zed-world as I have midered him to death today, sorry mate, and thanks for all the help :) I tried to call to cancel my appointment for tomorrow but it was engaged for ages mate :)

Yeh, Pissed off :) I keep saying to myself `it could be an omen` maybe things from above are stopping me from going?? I`m just glad I did my road trip and nothing went wrong then, Oh well, I`m going to leave it for a week or so then have another play, as I really cant be arsed at the moment , and thanks for all your help too Phil :)

.....can you not get the AA or RAC to take the car to Zedworld for you? Failing that, could you still make it to JAE in your other Z...?

To be honest Richard I probably could get the AA out, but what if its really goosed? , I will have to wait for recovery (away from home) then get driven there and then wait and see if it can be fixed and if It cant then I`m stuck in Birmingham :(

My TT has no tax,insurance,mot, no brakes and half the bits missing from the big swap over :(

 

I`ve not even had time to pack my stuff for JAE, and I`m fed up mate :(

Sorry if it's obvious and already done, but what codes were you getting when doing the ECU diagnostic mate.

Cos if one of the usual 3 things are in someway stopping it starting, their code will show.

gutted for you fella. when they are bitches, they certainly are the biggest of bitches. thats a massive overfuel. it'll be something stupid when you find it.

I know you would Andy mate :) Phil has offered too :) and I`m really thankful for great friends from this club offering their time and transport, but yes!!! I really just wanted to go in my car, that`s what its all about ,I have my van sat outside, I could go in Sarah`s mini and also at a push I could have sorted my TT out , but just lost interest now, thanks anyway buddy, have a good time :kiss:

i did think pressure reg.. just sounds like its wide open. therefore holding no pressure.

does it flood on all 6 cylinders when she overfuels?
