Alternator output

Hi, im a little converned my alternator output is low , it is reading 13.75 V charge, can anybody who knows confirm the minimum value acceptable for a TT

    That output is fine, the output voltage changes according to both vehicle demand, lights, heater etc and also the battery state of charge, this is dealt with by the regulator fitted in the alternator.

     

    A good test is to see what the voltage is when you apply load to the system such as lights, they may be a little dip but provided its stays above 13 volts its ok.
