It was parked in my garage last night? so I`m still only assuming its something to do with cold start?

Back of engine passenger side, bolted on to the plenum matey :) It should have a yellow two pin connector attached to it at the top. This is the ICV wire, the one under that is to do with the AC.

You find the fault yet Daz?

Not sure Gaz,:) its just playing up when she's cold, it starts fine when warm, but takes a good 10 turns to fire the bitch up :((((

Sounds like it needs some TLC mate:yes:the lady is complaning.

Ha,ha ..she gets nothing but TLC , I think she`s seen the TT go for a little drive out and gone on strike coz she had to stay out in the cold :)

Ah yes I had this problem when I had the two zeds. You would go out with one and the other one would get jealous and stat playing up. Fairladys mate you cant live without them or have more than one:biggrin:

I would try another coolent temp sensor, does the AC elec fan kick in at all?

Had the same problem before, and if the sensor is goosed then it overfuels which makes cold starting difficult

Thanks Jaffa' glad you mentioned that as last time I tried my air con it came out warm air!!!, is the temp sensor the one on the left or right looking at the engine?

daz i think you should take yours to jeff, spend loads of money there and get it fixed then tell me what the issue was so i can sort it cheap

Lol, Jeff did mention the temp sensor, but I don't know how to fix it, tried to call zed world today to book it in, but they must be having a day off

looks like no JAE for me if i don`t get it fixed :(

If you could get it to JAE then perhaps Jeff could cast his eye over it - its probably something simple.

Does water piss out when the sensor comes out?

Yeah, mikey's right it's the left one ;)

To your water pissing out Q. you may loose a tiny amount but you'll need to bleed the rad a little too anyway. And DON'T do it when the engines up to temp!!

Har fooking har :-)

You could always try connecting a multimeter to it then drop it in a pan of water (upto the sensor part) bring that to the boil and watch the multimeter. Measure resistance and as the water gets hotter the resistance should go down... If the res goes down smoothly then all's good.
