I've don't ths on most of the Zs I had over the years, but instead of painting, I had it wrapped in gloss vinyl, least that way it coud always be reverted back to standard very easy. It was cheap too about £15/£20

I thought about wrapping it, but as part of the roof was the old yellow, it would look silly when i take the roof off.

Priming the rest of the car tomorrow, ready for sunday, then i have 3 days before JAE for the colour ( fingers crossed)

No just the roof, still going yellow for the rest of the car, going to have to leave the engine bay till after JAE for colour as i wont get time.

I didnt realise just how much prep was still needed to the body after being in the old primer for so long.

Also my 99 spec lip arrived today, so got to get that fitted now too.
