Are these any good?I know it's not the full software but cheaper than my local garage would charge for a plug in.

As after last night boost jets thread I might be suffering from the DET sensor code 34 problem, and would they still fit an aftermarket ECU?

I've got one and it works just fine, even with the serial to usb adapter that some people complain about having troubles with, no idea if it will work with an aftermarket ECU though...

You could check the flash codes to find out if you have the DET sensor fault, think there's a link in the how to section. its really easy. and then you just need to bodge it with a 1k resistor. no need for conzult.

1 meg ohm resistor in the plug on the ECU side of the loom, that's what I have done, works a treat, I actually used the plug from my knackered det. sensor loom, opened it and fitted the resistor inside it, looks lovely and neat....... I'm just using the cheapest usb to serial i could find on ebay, 99p I think, although I have to mess with the settings before it will connect as it always chooses the wrong com port.
