i can cope with that any way with my mondeo tdci and 400torq at the wheels ... just fancy something different

ahh fair enough. Cant say I've driven one for an extended period of time but seemed decent enough for an MPV. Pretty quick but can still flop about in the corners cos of its height and size

My mates got a normal one and loves it. Won't be as nippy as your mondeo but the vxr can shift.

yeah i know .. but a good remap and few mods should see it around 260ish but 7 seats and all most like a van ...

Hi Mark,

for what my opinion is worth - don't do it mate!! I personally hate MPVs with a vengeance - and to coin a phrase from Jezza Clarkson; "Nothing says that you have given up on life so spectacularly as buying an MPV...."

If you have family and stuff to carry around then why not just keep with tradition and buy a decent estate car. MPVs are just fashionable (and have been for ages now) because the car makers have convinced every man and his dog to buy one. Families managed fine for years up to that point with estate cars so why change anything...??

Just my personal opinion though folks - please disregard it if you are happy with your MPV..!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Best MPV by far IMHO!-just because of the ingenious seat design-having to remove /put seats back in is a pain!!:ninja:

mine blew up brought it on 7000 miles regular service intervals blew up on 47000 had to have new head seals pistons

dont touch it with a barge pole oil inlets clog on early versions I was told

So, you buy a car to transport kids in, and you'd drive it like you stole it? The whole idea doesn't make sense to me.

I'd rather have something like a converted Mazda Bongo so you could even go on weekend camping trips too.
