uk weather! So all of it snow and rain etc! and it was on a drive way, so no splashes!

I talk from experience here, my Z was rust free and sat outside my house through 2 winters. My sills are rotted and the complete back end (diff etc) all had surface rust. Any leak from the targas will give you condensation issues and everything inside will start getting surface rust too. I think without driving and letting wind give everything a blowout while you drive, you could be asking for trouble.

not to mention the engone and transmission warming things up and drying things out. no car likes to be left stood.
