got it up and running today ... after the rebuild and just been to London and back ... and got my heat mag too :)

 

had two problems on the way the MAF plug decided to pop out and i flooded it on the way back

 

the only other thing concerning me is the steering column / rod is very close-touching the down pipe

to the point when i turn left the engine push's against it a little

Did you fit Japspeed manifolds by any chance?

Na these are 5 bold downs from cpz ... On ams headers didn't have this problem with old mugan downs

yeah .... engine and tubs running smooth ... and with controllable boost :)

 

spoke to CPZ and there AMS main headers and Down pipes have no known problems clearing the steering collum bar

Most 3" downpipes foul the steering column for rhd cars

its not 3" ... 2.5" outlet ... but the twin tubes are Larger than the mugan type i had before

 

going to see if i can shift the engine over a little if that fails will have to take it off and put a small indent about 2>3mm to clear

What are you going to do about it? Can you get it off easily enough and give it a tap with a hammer?

yeah should come off ok ... fresh bolts with grease on them
