loose **** end???

Does anyone else suffer from sideways movement at low speeds ie left to right over

pot holes etc..

Just had 2 new bridgestone s03 fitted (ouch!)

A little better but still there to a degree.

Steers better with the tracking up front done

which was 4mm out(toe in)

Are all zeds like this or is it just mine?

no, infact my zed is the only rear wheel car ive driven that doesnt do what you have described.

mine done the same, fitted new tyres, replaced fcuked hicas arm - improved a lot but still there.

done a 4 wheel alignment - rear wheels had 1 1/2 degrees toe!! adjusted and its spot on now

2nd that, rear shocks for me too. Mine had one totally stuffed. That side really gave the sideways action over manhole coveres etc

Oh and also discovered about 8mm toe in after rear HICAS arms were replaced but obviously not tracked properly. Combination of duff shocker and too much toe in gives the bump steer

Also check to see if the rear bushes are leaking. Mine are, but the shocks are also gone and it jumps around like a goodun.

My zed does same thing over manhole covers, slight bumps in the road and in fact any thing which isnt dead level. when it was serviced at zed world, jeff did comment on the fact that it had been lowered and rear shocks were on the way out so it could be this. wet manhole covers... multiply back end movement by a shed load!!!

Rear shocks, that's how I found out about the handbrake trick! wink.gif
