So had an hour repairing the sills, wanted longer but had to go n help a mate out

 

But not done bad so far I don't think

 

 

Hopefully get a few hours after work some days in the week and get it all smoothed off and the other side started

Yea a little time consuming getting it just right but well worth doing it properly

what did you do about the inner sill?

Cleaned it up and put a small plate in left the circle as I think that's some kind of drain as it looks a perfect circle as it was the before

I've got a Clarke mig 151te turbo great little welder

ok!! worth ever penny getting one I do bits for people all the time paid for itself in a few months

Yea even if you don't do it for others it alot cheaper than paying someone else to weld the car up, I've had it for a good few years now

Started on the other sill finally

 

Tacked new sill in place but ran out of gas so will finish when I get some more

 

Painted the rocker covers

 

Also fitted braided brake lines, drilled and tapped some snapped bolts and started polishing the alloy rims

most welding is better with argon, most fab shops get through gallons of the stuff. it wasnt unknown for me to get through a whole cyclinder of argo in a day. (yes a big one)
